Next Generation (NG) 9-1-1 Supporting Documents

NG 9-1-1 is a concept that has evolved from the work of many, starting with the Hatfield Report to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and continuing to this day in work done by, among others, the National Emergency Number Association (NENA), the US Department of Transportation (DoT) and the National Telecommunications Information Administration (NTIA) Network Reliability and Interoperability Council (NRIC).  The Emergent solution is consistent with the concepts presented.  There are links below to numerous documents generated by these groups.  Documents may open in a new window.
